Conquer Mt. Isarog

Day 1 Participants travel from the city proper to barangay Panicuason nestled at the foot of Mt. Isarog.

Trek to camp 1 (base camp) at the Mt. Isarog Protected Area Office follows. Participants are then ushered to a 30-minute briefing session by a DENR personnel or a local tour guide. A stop-over at camp 1 where one can view and splash with the cascading waterfalls of Malabsay, Yabon and Nabontolan is encouraged. One may also engage with river canyoning, high altitude jumping and fishing to make camp 1 a truly memorable experience.

Day 2 Warm-up and breakfast at the Malabsay area. Participants prepare for a whole-day trek. Trekkers move from camp 1 to camps 2 and 3 passing through trails of grassland and mossy forests until they reach camp 4 located near at the peak of Mt. isarog. Return to camp 1. Travel from camp 1 to Panicuason Hot Springs resort. Back to the city proper.

An entrance fee of Php 75 for students and Php 100 for professionals is required by the DENR Protected Area Office. Local mountain guides are present in the area. Tel.No. (63)(54) 472-8018.
