MANPOWER SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM


Who can Avail the Program
Out-of-School youth who signify interest in Technical-Vocational Course/s.

What are the Requirements
Students must submit RKS 09 and a barangay clearance. They must also pass the written entrance examination to qualify for the program.

What are the Courses Offered

Courses offered are Automotive and Diesel Mechanics, Auto Electricity and Basic Welding.

How long will be the
Duration of the Training
Training period will be for three months and a minimum of four hundred (400) hours on-the-job training (OJT) to complete the training scheme.


Guide for Applicants

STEP 1
Ask for an RKS 09 to the CEC staff and accomplish the form with a 1x1 photo together with a barangay clearance to the person in-charge. You will be advised to come back on the scheduled date of examination.

STEP 2
On the scheduled date of examination, you will be given a written examination at the Manpower Training Center (MTC). Results will be posted the day after the examination.

STEP 3
If qualified, pay the entrance fee of One Hundred Fifty Pesos (P150.00) at the City Treasurer's Office. Official receipt shall be presented to the Manpower Instructor upon enrollment. Schedule of classes will be announced thereafter.

STEP 4
On the first day of classes, an Induction Training Program (ITP) will be conducted by the Manpower Development Officer I.

STEP 5
A three-month theoretical and practical application shall be administered.

STEP 6
Graduation Ceremony will be held after the students have completed the three-month training program.

STEP 7
After graduation, you will undergo a trade test to assess your skills competency and know-how to be conducted by the Technocal Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Testing fee is P300.00. If you passed, a Certificate of Eligibility will be issued by TESDA.

STEP 8
To complete the training, you must undertake a practicum for a minimum of four hundred (400) hours. You must be able to secure a referral letter, performance training report form and a waiver from the CEC staff to be presented to the company where you intend to apply as a trainee and bring the following requirements - Address, name and position of the contact person of the company and Community Tax Certificate.

STEP 9
Upon completion of the practicum, submit your Performance Rating Report accomplished by the employer to the CEC staff at Metro PESO to claim your Diploma or Certificate of Training Completion.

STEP 10
Monitoring of your performance during your practicum will be done by the CEC staff to assess whether you were able to meet the standard of the company or continuously hired by your employer.
