SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENTS
 
GOVERNMENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM


Who can Avail the Program
Youth between ages 18-25 years old under these categories:
- High school/College/Tech-Vocational students to be recruited on the basis of their field of study;
- Out-of-School Youth who are poor but deserving;
- College graduates with interest in working in the government.

What are the Requirements
- Duly filled-up Form 212 (Bio-Data) or Curriculum Vitae
- Other requirements as may be required

What will be the Incentives

A GIP trainee is entitled to receive 75% of the existing minimum wage rate.

How long will be the
Duration of the Training
Training period will be a minimum of one (1) month and a maximum of three (3) months.


Guide for Applicants

STEP 1
Ask for 1 copy of RKS 9 from the CEC staff and fill it up with correct and complete information. Attach a 1x1 picture together with your application letter, transcript of record, employment certificate (if any).

STEP 2
You will undergo an interview with the CEC staff to assess your qualifications and for job matching. You will then be asked to come back on a scheduled date for the result or be called upon.

STEP 3
If qualified, you will be issued with an appointment for one month, indicating the office where you will be assigned and the stipend you are entitled to. Recommendation from the head of office is necessary for the extension of training.

STEP 4
Submit your two copies of your accomplishment report at Metro PESO every 15 days together with your payroll for processing.
