Hello, Tatjana. For almost a year, I had no time to visit the Naga City website simply because I concentrated on my personal issues: my family.
MNCF... I resigned already but still, I thought of checking the site again to let you know that the gentleman that you are judging is not an enemy.
I want to inform you that through John and his wife, the WAFS, the society where they were active members are constantly donating portions of their proceeds to three charity groups in the Philippines, and one of these is the MNCF. This gentleman gives his time and spends money for others. And in the near future, he and his wife planned to put-up a business in Naga. Overall, he has a happy life. That’s a few important information that I can give you about this gentleman. He is good person and a good friend of mine.
I wanted to prove to you through hard copies of documents that the money of MNCF is in good hands. If you want to check, you are free to dropby at Ansel's office. Just as simple as that. If you are not in Naga now, you can ask for copies of those report through emails. You are free to do that.
I don't know if you will react or resist if I ask you to apologize to John.
Thank you.

You asked the question Tatjana, so I just gave you an honest answer about my situation !
There is an English saying "If you don't think you will like the answer, don't ask the question"
Seems like you regretted asking the question !
Whilst writing, my finances do not have to be audited by anybody after the inland revenue.
And please, on this forum there is no necessity to call me lord or bow. I writing this in my spare time.
You seem very bitter, you have gone from raising suspicion about a charitable organisation who do good work that I have seen for myself, to poking your nose into my personal finances. I've told it like it is. Now why don't you go and have a lie down, you'll give yourself an ulcer. When your rested, find some real concerns to investigate and slander.
Sorry if you were offended by the meal offer. I thought it was a decent gesture and opportunity to discuss our differences of opinion. Ok, we'll go dutch, suits me. Dune and Ansel you're invited too if you're in the area.

To settle doubts and push for transparency especially critics I started a blogsite for the accounting of donations, it's not yet complete as I have to squeezed it on my spare time. I'm currently on a 6-month training and out of the office most of the times, don't have internet connection at home so I'm doing it after office hours.
There are initial infomations already posted online, photos, receipts and other documentaion/information will be posted ASAP.
The site's URL is
http://mncf.wordpress.com/
Thank you for all the feedback and comments, I hope this would answer questions unanswered.

Though it is important to have transparency, I believe all these things are especially for donors. If there are people who should question the group, it should be the donors themselves and not from anybody who did not even spend a cent but acts as if he has donated the most. It is a
private fund
and not from the people's tax (there is a huge difference). Tatjana is mistaken that he has the right to know (who gave him the right?). Though if he ask, we can answer but to insult donors is way out of hand! It's a shame that John have suffered most of Tatjana's allegations-- Tatjana, whose identity is not known but to himself and his PC.
This will be my last post under this topic unless Tatjana discloses himself.
My apologies to John and Grace, you don't deserve this kind of treatment.

Dune, no problem. Nobody needs to apologise to me. Ansel and anyone in Naga who knows me will tell you I am big enough to take care of myself. Thanks for the thought though.
I certainly do not hold it against any Naguenos (incidently people that I love or have great affection for) MNCF or any other local heroes. I hope I will know them a whole lot better if things come to fruition in the way I hope in years to come. This is not in business, but in another capacity. Kindest regards to all Naguenos, John.

Hi Barokekkek. I am not an authority on Jane and her sister's work. Having said that, I did have a telephone conversation about 2 years ago with the sister in the UK. They do wonderful work. The only reason we didn't get involved is one. we were already committed with charities that we already help and two. we would lose alot of the control of who the money goes to and how the money is spent.
They have done extremely well in the few years they have been about. The one sister in the UK is a teacher and generates alot of support in many schools, so has a massive donating public. When you talk to schools you can motivate about 500 people at a time to get their families involved. It's a numbers game and it works. If we were to get involved with them we would become a "small fish in a much bigger pool" if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, we have to work with a membership of about 250 plus families.
On the plus side, we have no administration costs whatsoever. All the setting up of events are done by willing volunteers who give their time for free (although they will be offered a free ticket for the event, sometimes the helper will still prefer to pay) Our remittances are sent free of charge (sponsored) by a company called LMS Remittance. Raffle pizes are donated by society members or sometimes local related businesses. So we are very efficient.
I wish them every success as their time dedicated is second to none and we have worked with them on the same one off projects.

i have the greatest admiration for blessed souls like you. i wish we have more johns and janes of your kind in this world. thank you. have you seen the street children in naga? what do you think we can do for them? the best time to see them is at sunrise when they are still asleep on the pavement downtown.

Thanks for those kind words Barokekek, not necessary though.
It is not hard work if you enjoy doing it or seeing the end result. Perhaps thats why I choose the Naga area for beneficiaries, so we can monitor the situation and enjoy seeing the end result. I always return to the UK highly motivated. A little money from each of a large number of people makes it easily done and the money goes so much further in the Philippines.
Fortunately or unfortunately, I have never been downtown early enough to witness that. The only time I'm up that early is if I am going fishing to Lake Buhi. (shame on me !)
We have been involved with funding an foundation that deals with similar cases in San Mateo, Rizal. They have an education and feeding programme. It all depends on one question, do the kids want to get off the streets ? If so, that's half the battle won.

the street sweeper told me that these kids prefer to be on the streets. they escape from the social work custody but i have not confirmed this with social work head jimmy reblando. one concerned citizen said that there is nothing for these kids to do at the social work building wherever that is. no one wants to be cooped up just like this indian who calls himself "mr. living outside" because he refuses to stay in the reservation. you fish at lake buhi? did you know that it is against the law to catch the smallest edible fish in the world? just kidding. you probably fish for tilapia (the fish Jesus fed to the people) or janitor fish (biodiesel fish). tried mudfish yet? have fun sir john.

still here ambassadeurs-sama. need more mosquito nets? how did you like the different colors? ai--eru. the guy beside me on the plane who now lives in maryland, spoke fluent nihongo and german. he was the gardener at the german embassy in tokyo. he was sick and sneezed at our food trays. i think he was going home to mindoro to die. still looking forward to meeting you, john and all our friends at the mncf. john, you can snag a carp as big as your thigh in the bicol river but would you have the guts to eat it? i heard britons consider them as a nuisance but the poles consider them as delicacy. carp fish n chips washed down with lager. one time, the septic tank of mother seton hospital in naga was full of catfish as big as your leg. they got fat from all the unnecessary appendectomies of dr prado. another hospital had a pond full of carp fed with blood clots. tilapia on the other hand can minimize malaria. they love to eat mosquito larvae. where's the loo?
