GEOPHYSICAL INFORMATION

A. LOCATION

The Barangay Sabang is an Urban Area. It is bounded in the East by Barangay Triangulo, in the West by the Municipality of Camaligan, in the South by Barangay Mabolo, in the North by Barangay Abella. This Barangay is the new commercial center in the city which houses the biggest shopping center.

B. TOPOGRAPHY

The total land area of Barangay Sabang is 0.4106 square kilometers or 0.53 % of the total land area of Naga City. It is entirely plain.

C. LAND USE

The type of soil in Barangay Sabang is Pili Clay Loam. The residential area has 0.3345 square kilometer or 81.47%, the commercial area has 0.0507 square kilometer or 12.35% and the remaining 0.0254 square kilometer or 6.18% occupies the river.

D. HYDROGRAPHY

The only water way in the area is the Naga River.

E. MEANS OF ACCESS

Barangay Sabang is accessible to all kinds of vehicles.
