GEOPHYSICAL INFORMATION

A. LOCATION

Barangay Dayangdang is an urban area situated in the East of Barangay Balatas, in the West of Barangay Sta. Cruz, in the South of Barangay Tinago and in the North of Barangay Peñafrancia.

B. TOPOGRAPHY

The land area of the Barangay is .2957 square kilometer and it is .38% of the total land area of Naga City.

C. LAND USE

The residential area occupies the majority land area of Barangay Dayangdang with .2613 square kilometers or 88.37% while the commercial area is .0241 square kilometers or 8.15% and lastly the river occupies .0103 hectares or 3.48%. The soil type of this community Pili Clay Loam.

D. HYDROGRAPHY

The only major waterway in the area is Naga River. It has a high risk to flash flood because the river is near at the residential area.

E. MEANS OF ACCESS

The barangay is accessible to all kinds of vehicles like pedicab, tricycle, multi-cab and the traditionally known "Kalesa".
