GEOPHYSICAL INFORMATION

A. LOCATION

Barangay Calauag is an Urban Area. It is bounded in the East by Barangay San Felipe, in the West and North by Municipality of Canaman, Camarines Sur and in the South by Barangay Bagumbayan Sur.

B. TOPOGRAPHY

The total land area of Barangay Calauag is 0.5 square kilometer or .65 % of the total land area of Naga City. It is entirely plain and with rice lands.

C. LAND USE

The residential area is 80 % of the total land area, while 10 % is Commercial Establishments, 5 % is Industrial and 5 % is Agricultural land.

D. HYDROGRAPHY

Due to its location as a land locked barangay, Barangay Calauag does not have water ways in it’s locality.

E. MEANS OF ACCESS

The Barangay is convenient to all kinds of vehicles like Tricycle, Pedicab and Public Utility Jeepney.
