A. LOCATION

Barangay Balatas is an Urban Area. It is bounded in the North by Barangay San Felipe, in the East by Barangay Cararayan, in the West by the Barangay Dayangdang and in the South by the Barangay Concepcion Pequeña.

B. TOPOGRAPHY

The total land area of Barangay Balatas is 1.82 square kilometer or 2.34 % as to Naga City total land area.

C. LAND USE

The soil type of Barangay Balatas is Pili Clay Loam. With it’s land area of 1.82 square kilometers it is allocated to Residential Area of 58. 26 %, Commercial land of 5.30 % while the Institutional of 11.90%, Agricultural land of 20.08% and the remaining of 4.47% to River.

D. HYDROGRAPHY

The only major waterway in the area is Naga River.

E. MEANS OF ACCESS

Barangay Balatas accessible to all kinds of vehicles may it be tricycle, pedicabs, and public utility jeepney.
