The total number of household as of 1998 is 1,257 an average of 6persons per household.

C. SETTLEMENT AND HOUSING DATA

The Community Multi-Sectoral Assembly that was conducted last September 1998 shows that the out of 1,002 total number of household 309 or 31% are two storey or multi storey, 99 or 10% are split level and the remaining 594 or 59% are single storey. Moreover in building resistance 279 or 28% are in High Risk with light materials, 203 or 20% are in Medium Risk with Semi-concrete building with G.I. Roofing, 267 or 27% are in Low Risk with Concrete frame with G.I. Roof and Walls and the remaining 253 or 25% are No Risk.

Barangay Abella has a minimal discrepancy in numbers between Male and Female population. The later has 3,719 individuals while male has 3,823, having a difference of 104 in number or 2.72 % in percentage. The number and percentage of female in the Barangay Governance is 3 or 27.27 % .
