FUNCTIONS
- Conducts committee/public hearings on matters referred to it by the Sangguniang Panlungsod and recommends action thereon;
- Prepares and recommends measures to update National Building and Construction Code and the Fire Code;
- Studies and reviews proposed building and construction projects to ensures conformity with the Building and Construction Code;
- Studies and recommends the construction of the city roads, bridges, public buildings and public parks. Ensures that the proper repair and maintenance measures are implemented;
- Reviews the necessary project studies for any public building, structure needed by the city and/or recommended for construction. Make the necessary representation with all agencies concerned;
- Monitors the implementation of laws and ordinances relative to city infrastructure projects;
- Performs such other functions as the Sanggunian may
adopt.
